چکیده

We show that the relaxational dynamics as exhibited in the enthalpy relaxation of the density wave compounds at very low temperatures (T<lK) is very similar to that one occuring in disordered systems such as glassy polymers or spin glasses. We discuss these similarities, as well as some pecularities, in the frame of secondary relaxational processes as genuine features of glass formers below their glass transition temperature. This approach is strongly supported by recent direct evidence for the existing glass transition brought about by means of calorimetric and dielectric measurements.

Introducing Stable Real Non-Topological Solitary Wave Solutions in 1+1 Dimensions

By adding a proper term to the Lagrangian density of a real non-linear KG system with a proposed non-topological unstable solitary wave solution, its stability guaranteed appreciably. This additional term in the new modified Lagrangian density behaves like a strong internal force which stands against any arbitrary small deformation in the proposed non-topological solitary wave solution.

Spin and pair density wave glasses

Spontaneous breaking of translational symmetry—known as ‘density wave’ order—is common in nature. However such states are strongly sensitive to impurities or other forms of frozen disorder leading to fascinating glassy phenomena. We analyze impurity effects on a particularly ubiquitous form of broken translation symmetry in solids: a Spin Density Wave (SDW) with spatially modulated magnetic ord...

Multi-soliton of the (2+1)-dimensional Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schiff equation and KdV equation

A direct rational exponential scheme is offered to construct exact multi-soliton solutions of nonlinear partial differential equation. We have considered the Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation and KdV equation as two concrete examples to show efficiency of the method. As a result, one wave, two wave and three wave soliton solutions are obtained. Corresponding potential energy of the solito...

Tagged-particle dynamics in a hard-sphere system: mode-coupling theory analysis.

The predictions of the mode-coupling theory of the glass transition (MCT) for the tagged-particle density-correlation functions and the mean-squared displacement curves are compared quantitatively and in detail to results from Newtonian- and Brownian-dynamics simulations of a polydisperse quasi-hard-sphere system close to the glass transition. After correcting for a 17% error in the dynamical l...

Development of a mathematical model to design an offshore wind and wave hybrid energy system

Fossil Fuels are always considered as environmental pollutants. On the other hand, the political and economic situations highly affect the price of these fuels. Offshore wind and wave, as renewable energy sources, represent the better alternatives for electricity generation. Therefore, it is necessary that wind speeds effectively be estimated due to the absence of field measurements of the wind...
